BKD Sock is my bestseller, a yarn you will never regret buying, and always find a project to knit up with it! An absolute all-rounder, BFL (comes from Bluefaced Leicester, a sheep breed known for lustrous long fiber) fiber gives it bounce and longevity, whereas nylon adds sturdiness to your projects. This fiber composition makes your projects elastic and durable. I cannot recommend it highly enough! Just try it. 

NEEDLES: Knit on 2-2.5mm needles for long-lasting fabulously soft socks. This yarn is sturdy, soft and a real powerhouse for any project. You can knit hats, shawls, cardigans, or anything your heart wishes, single or double, on any needle size. The choice is yours, but take time to check your gauge. This is essential. 

COLORS: All colors are dyed by me in layers to give them shade and depth using a special method I developed in my home studio in Berlin. Each skein of hand-dyed yarn is unique, it is hardly possible to replicate the process fully, even when established and repetitive. Therefore, I suggest ordering bigger quantities from the same dye lot (listed skeins) or contacting me before ordering, if you need bigger quantities.

STABILITY: I am dyeing with professional colors that I mix to a certain ratio for a particular tone, fade, or nuance in my studio. These colors are proven and stable over a longer period of time, even after washing. However, be aware that all colored garments, even the industrial ones, fade with time, so some changes are expected, depending on how you care for your garment and how often you wear it. 

BLEEDING: I wash my yarn extensively to avoid bleeding but stay aware it may bleed slightly after the first washings until the color is fully exhausted. 

CARE: Sock yarn is machine washable. However, to protect it, wash it as little as possible and air it after every wear.
