BKD Breeze is a luxurious hand-dyed kid silk lace yarn. As accompanying fiber gives a beautiful halo or glow to any project if dyed in solid color, and beautifully adds to a color variation if dyed in many colors. These two skeins are enough for an airy shalw or as accompanying fibre for a sweater.
Goes well held together with all my other yarn, especially BKD Merino DK, BKD Strings, and BKD Silk Strings.Â
If you want to use kid silk only in a project, you can hold it double for a fingering weight yarn gauge (same as BKD Merino Strings). Wind your ball, take an inner and outer thread, and knit it on 3.5mm for app 20st in 10cm (4in) gauge. 3 - 4 hanks are enough for a sweater up to XL size. Contact me for sweater quantities.
