All established colourways are dyed-to-order. Once you place your order, I will dye yarn in one dye lot, so to avoiding strong colour variations. Subtle colour variations are always present, even in the small, unique dye lots. Therefore, it is recommended to alternate two or three yarn skeins at a time when knitting bigger projects. 

Bear in mind that different yarn bases differently take up colour: merino singles are usually used as a reference. Silky yarn gives a certain shine to the colourway, whereas linen, alpaca or mohair attenuatte the colour and make it more "distressed', giving it a certain used, grungy look.
